About INSAC-2024

Indian Nuclear Society (INS), in association with Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB), is delighted to announce its Annual Conference INSAC-2024 on the theme
"Regulatory Framework for Nuclear Renaissance"

Nuclear power is a key element in global energy demands and net-zero emissions. Many countries have committed to increase the share of nuclear in the energy mix by 2050. A nuclear renaissance is, thus, in the offing. Additionally, the use of radiation in medical and industrial sectors is expanding continuously. To fully realize the potential of nuclear power with utmost safety, it is crucial to develop and implement regulations that ensure the highest standards of safety and security. Given the need and importance of a robust nuclear regulatory framework in accelerating the adoption and applications of nuclear energy, INS is organizing this conference to address these pivotal issues.
